Reno Omokri has publicly challenged Peter Obi to offer employment to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member who criticized President Bola Tinubu over Nigeria’s economic hardship. The corps member recently went viral for a video in which she expressed frustration over the current state of the country.

Peter Obi, in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, praised the young woman’s courage and voiced his support for her, describing her outburst as a reflection of the realities many Nigerians face.

In response, Omokri took to Instagram to question Obi’s stance, urging him to go beyond words. “I challenge you to offer her employment in your company,” he wrote, adding that if Obi truly believes she displayed the right moral virtues and upbringing, then he should be willing to give her a job.
