“I Am a Proud, Committed PDP Member” — Gwagwalada Chairman-Elect
Gwagwalada Area Council Chairman-elect, Comrade Kasim Mohammed Ikwa, has dismissed social media reports suggesting he plans to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ikwa described the claims as “entirely false” and intended to mislead the public. “There is no meeting, no negotiation, no discussion, and no intention whatsoever to defect,” he said, reaffirming his loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He urged residents to ignore the rumours and remain focused on building inclusive and effective governance for Gwagwalada.
