Hisbah Arrests Six Cross-Dressers in Kano
The Kano State Hisbah Board has apprehended six cross-dressers in the Gaida area of Kumbotso Local Government Area, following suspicions of homosexual activity.
Dr. Mujaheed Abubakar, the Deputy Commander General of Hisbah, revealed the arrests to newsmen recently, citing complaints from local residents as the catalyst for the operation.
Dr. Mujaheed stated that the suspects have confessed to their actions, expressed remorse, and pledged not to repeat such behavior. However, he assured that appropriate actions would be taken upon the completion of the investigation.
