“He Will Sweat, Even With the AC” — Arise TV Invites Wike for Studio Interview as Abati Predicts Tough Questions
The Arise News Morning Show team has invited the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to appear for an interview on the programme.
During Tuesday’s edition of the show, co-host Reuben Abati said Wike would face intense questioning if he accepts the invitation and comes to the studio.
Abati questioned the Minister’s recent media engagements, noting that Wike has been granting interviews in different locations rather than appearing on the Arise TV set.
“He has gone from Abuja to Port Harcourt, and only God knows where he is going next for another media chat. He doesn’t have the confidence to come to this studio. Let him come — he will sweat, even with the air conditioning. In this studio, we will make him sweat,” Abati said.
Earlier, Abati had criticised Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, accusing him of sycophancy over what he described as excessive loyalty to the Minister.
In response, Olayinka fired back at Abati, dismissing him as a failure and attacking his record as a former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
As of the time of this report, Wike has not publicly responded to the invitation to appear on the Arise News Morning Show.
