Gruesome Ogun Cult Clash Leaves Three Decapitated Bodies
The Ogun State Police Command has reported the discovery of three decapitated bodies suspected to be the result of a violent clash between rival cult groups. The gruesome find was made in an abandoned building at Abibatun Toronbi Community, Ijoko-Ota, within the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.
According to a statement by the Command spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, the alert came from a community leader in Abibatun Toronbi, Ijoko. The bodies, bearing evident machete wounds, were found in an uncompleted building that had also been serving as a hideout for criminals in the area. It is believed that the assailants, presumed to be members of rival cult groups, ruthlessly struck down these young men and even severed their left hands. Two of the victims have been identified as Memory and Rilwan, both alleged members of the Eiye Confraternity.
