Gospel Singer Onos Brisibi Dies at 55
Nigerian gospel singer Onos Brisibi has died at the age of 55.
Her family confirmed the news in a statement released on Thursday, noting that she passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2026, after an illness.
In the statement, the family described her as a devoted Christian and a respected voice in gospel music, known for her role as a praise and worship leader.
“Onos Nancy Brisibi was a devoted Christian, a gifted songstress, and a passionate praise and worship leader whose voice touched many lives as she spread the gospel through music,” the statement read.
They added that she would be remembered for her warmth and character. “She will be remembered as a beautiful, fun-loving woman whose faith and kindness left lasting impressions on all who knew her.”
Brisibi is survived by her daughter, Sarah, her mother, siblings, extended family, friends, and members of LoveWorld Ministries.
