Fubara Attends APC Strategy, Conflict Resolution Committee’s First Meeting
The All Progressives Congress (APC) held the inaugural meeting of its Strategy, Conflict Resolution, and Mobilization Committee on Wednesday evening at the Yobe State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
The session was chaired by Yobe State Governor Mala Buni, who leads the committee. Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara was among the governors in attendance, alongside Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Uba Sani (Kaduna), and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti).
Key federal officials and party leaders also participated, including Minister of State for Defence Bello Matawalle, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola, former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, Senator Kabiru Marafa, former APC National Legal Adviser Muiz Banire, and Ibrahim Masari, Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Political Affairs.
Governors Bassey Otu (Cross River), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), and Umar Namadi (Jigawa), all committee members, were absent.
President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the committee on December 24, tasking it with resolving internal party conflicts and strengthening nationwide mobilization efforts.
