Former EFCC Boss, Magu, Decorated As AIG
The former acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, was on Thursday, decorated as an Assistant Inspector-General of police.
The police service commission had confirmed Magu’s promotion in May.
You would recall that Ibrahim Magu who was appointed in acting capacity as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2016 was suspended by the Buhari administration.
Magu was suspended for allegations of gross misconduct, insubordination and abuse of office.
He was decorated by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Usman Baba, alongside 32 newly pomoted senior police officers.
