Olabisi Ajayi-Kayode a witness at the on going Special Offences court in Lagos, in a case against James Omiyinka also known as “Baba Ijesha” presented a forensic report which revealed that, Baba Ijesha inserted a car key into the vagina of a minor.
Ajayi-Kayode a child forensic expert made the revelation while being led by the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Olayinka Adeyemi.
She said the clinical report on the minor showed that Baba Ijesha allegedly engaged the child in sexual activities on two occasions and on one occasion inserted his car key into her vagina.
She added that the forensic interview she had with the victim showed engagement and suppression of the minor as Baba Ijesha had asked the minor not to inform anyone.
She said “He asked the child if he should remove his penis and asked her to sit on his lap,” the witness told the court.”
“He told her not to tell anybody. The perpetrator also inserted his car key into her vagina and asked her not to tell anyone.”
The trial was adjourned to October 20 and 21 for further hearing by the presiding Judge, Justice Oluwatoyin.
While speaking to newsmen at the Court premises, some members of the Baba Ijesha team said the forensic report could be a “fallacy.”
You would recall that, Baba Ijesha was on June 16 arraigned before a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Yaba, Lagos State for alleged sexual assault and attempted rape of a minor.
The 48-year-old actor was arraigned on a four-count charge of sexual assault, sexual assault by penetration, attempted rape and indecent treatment of a child.
