Ekweremadu Saga: Court orders NIMC, Immigration to release “donors” biodata
A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and the Immigration Service to provide the certified true copy (CTC) of David Ukpo’s biodata.
The Ekweremadu’s had prayed the court for an order directing the NIMC to supply the certified true copy of Ukpo’s biodata, in a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/984/2022, filed on June 27 by Adegboyega Awomolo, counsel to the senator and his wife, before Inyang Ekwo, justice of a federal high court in Abuja.
You would recall that the London Metropolitan Police had arrested and charged Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife to court for allegedly bringing a ‘child’ to the UK for organ harvesting.
Reports have it the London police claimed that David Ukpo is 15, but his Nigerian passport and bank verification number (BVN) shows he is 21.
