#EndBadGovernance Protest: Japanese, Russian Flags Sighted in Jos (Photos)
Protests against bad governance in Nigeria have taken an unexpected turn as foreign flags continue to appear in various locations across the country. On Sunday, a group of demonstrators in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, were seen carrying Russian and Japanese flags, leading local organizers to conclude their march earlier than planned.
The presence of these flags is part of a growing trend, with Russian flagbearers first spotted in Kano. The movement, now in its fifth day, has seen hundreds of predominantly underaged youths calling for international intervention, specifically from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
One of the flags in Jos bore the inscription, “We are Nigerians, Russia; we need your help,” highlighting the protesters’ plea for foreign assistance.
