DAAR Communications Reacts to NBC Sanctions Threat
DAAR Communications PLC, owners of African Independent Television (AIT) has reacted to allegations of noncompliance to the National Broadcasting Code in its coverage of the 2019 general election court cases by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
In a statement personally signed by the chairman, Chief Raymond Dokpesi (jnr.) on Thursday, the company said that AIT has not interfered with cases before the court of competent jurisdiction,that it merely focused on the arguments presented by the legal team of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
