The Presidential Taskforce Chairman on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, has in a statement at the 2021 quarterly meeting of the Northern Traditional Leaders Committee on Primary Healthcare stated that all Nigerians must be vaccinated against the Coronavirus.

According to the Chairman, prevention and non-pharmaceutical methods have proven most effective in the fight against the pandemic, and as such traditional rulers were advised to educate their respective communities on adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines and vaccinations.

It is pertinent to reiterate the fact that COVID-19 is real and that we are currently battling with the ferocious nature of the second wave of the pandemic.

In spite of the high rate of infections and fatality, the fact is that we are still not testing enough.
