Bill Gates and wife Melinda break up after 27years of marriage
Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and the 4th richest man in the world has announced that he would be separating from his wife Melinda, after a 27-year marriage.
Bill made this announcement via his Twitter handle.
The Tweet read: “After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage.
“Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.”
“We continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this phase of our lives.”
Bill and Melinda Gates are known to be the world’s wealthiest couples, with an estimated net worth of $130 billion. They jointly run the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. They are both noted for their philanthropic gestures.
