Assets Declaration: Nigerians Commend Makinde, Mock Buhari

Nigerians have taken to Twitter to commend Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde for making his assets declaration form public.

They mocked president Muhammadu Buhari for his refusal to fully disclose his assets like Makinde has done. Some of the Twitter users also slammed the Oyo state chapter of the APC for questioning the source of the governor’s wealth.

Makinde, who has operated in the oil and gas firm since the 90s, isn’t even as rich as Drake and Snoop Dogg. But the poverty merchants have lost their heads over his “impossible” wealth. Why are we this obsessed with poverty?

Seyi Makinde was the highest INDIVIDUAL donor towards resolving the LAUTECH crisis while Ajimobi and Aregbesola (of SAME PARTY) allowed it to fester.

The Bourdillon king of bullion vans was also the Prochancellor.
