The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Engr. Eric Nnamdi Anyamene, has extended warm Father's Day greetings to fathers across Nigeria, with special appreciation to fathers in Idemili North and South.
In his Father's Day message, Anyamene described fathers as the pillars of many homes, whose sacrifices, guidance, and hard work provide the foundation upon which strong families and responsible communities are built.
He noted that beyond providing for their families, fathers play a critical role in shaping the character, values, and future of their children through discipline, love, and good example.
"Today is an opportunity to honour the men who quietly make countless sacrifices for their families. Fathers inspire, protect, and guide. Their contributions may not always receive public recognition, but they remain indispensable to the stability of our homes and society," he said.
The founder of the Eric Nnamdi Anyamene Foundation (ENAF) also encouraged fathers to remain steadfast in raising children who will contribute positively to society, while urging families to appreciate and support the men who carry the responsibilities of fatherhood.
He prayed for God's continued strength, wisdom, good health, and blessings upon fathers, wishing them a memorable Father's Day celebration.
