Nigerian Army troops have reportedly arrested a man known on TikTok as “Sule Yellow,” a suspected bandit linked to kidnapping activities in the region.
Security sources say the suspect was intercepted while allegedly returning to a forest hideout after collecting ransom paid by relatives of a kidnapped victim.
Sule Yellow had gained attention on TikTok, where he frequently posted videos showing large sums of cash. Investigators believe some of the money displayed in those clips may have been obtained from ransom payments connected to kidnapping operations.
He had built a sizeable online following, largely driven by content featuring bundles of cash and a flashy lifestyle presentation.
At the time of reporting, the Nigerian Army had not issued an official statement confirming the arrest or providing further details.
Meanwhile, a video circulating on social media appears to show the moment of his apprehension, though its authenticity has not been independently verified.
