Armed Drones from Lebanon Detonate in Northern Israel, Injuring Three
In a recent development exacerbating regional tensions, Israeli authorities confirmed that two unmanned aerial vehicles originating from Lebanon detonated in northern Israel, causing injuries to three individuals.
Amid escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran and its proxies, the Israeli military released a statement detailing the incident. The armed drones reportedly breached Lebanese airspace before infiltrating Israeli territory and detonating in the vicinity of Beit Hillel in the Galilee region.
According to reports from Israel’s state-owned Kan, three individuals sustained minor injuries as a result of the explosions. Notably, the detonations did not activate air raid sirens, prompting further scrutiny from military officials.
As the situation unfolds, Israeli authorities are conducting a thorough review of the incident to ascertain the motives behind the attack and to implement appropriate measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
