APC ‘Wonder’: Etsako Polling Unit Result Shows Party got 352 Votes from 213 Accredited Voters
In what can only be described as a puzzling outcome, an alleged result sheet from the Etsako polling unit in Edo State shows the All Progressives Congress (APC) securing 352 votes, despite only 213 voters being accredited. This curious result has sparked controversy and raised questions about the credibility of the ongoing gubernatorial election.
With 493 registered voters at the polling unit, INEC data indicates that only 213 voters were accredited. However, the result sheet reportedly shows APC receiving a whopping 352 votes, while Labour Party scored 1 vote and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 52 votes. The result has intensified allegations of vote rigging, particularly aimed at the APC.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) allocated 500 ballot papers to the unit for the election, and the IREV portal has processed results from 64% of polling units across the state. But this latest twist from Etsako raises serious concerns about the integrity of the process.
