Anambra Police Confer Patron Honour on Prophet Odumeje

The Anambra State Police Command, Zone 13, has conferred an award of excellence and patron status on Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, citing his public influence and prominence as a preacher.

The recognition was presented during a church service by Emmanuel Madu, a Chief Superintendent of Police and zonal chaplain. Zone 13 oversees police operations in Anambra State and Enugu State.

According to Mr Madu, the decision followed what he described as an internal review of the cleric’s ministry and public profile. He said the command considered Odumeje’s national and international visibility, as well as his outspoken preaching style, in granting the honour.

Odumeje, who leads the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, is widely known for his unconventional deliverance sessions and online presence. He has also collaborated musically with Flavour, further expanding his reach beyond religious audiences.

In a video shared on social media, the cleric accepted the recognition and reaffirmed his self-described role as a bold preacher. He referenced scripture to support his remarks and maintained that his ministry is backed by what he called verifiable evidence.

Odumeje has built a large following through theatrical sermons and distinctive personal branding, often adopting titles such as “The Liquid Metal” and “Indaboski.” His activities have consistently drawn public attention, both supportive and critical.

The latest recognition adds to previous honours he has received. In March 2020, he was named a national patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
