Amaechi Muonagor Battles Kidney Disease, Diabetes, and Stroke: Urgent Appeal for Support
Nigerian actor Amaechi Muonagor, renowned for his iconic roles, is currently facing a challenging health crisis, revealed by his cousin, Tony Oneweek. The veteran actor is courageously combating kidney disease, diabetes, and the aftermath of a stroke, demanding urgent assistance from compassionate Nigerians to fund his vital medical treatments.
Tony Oneweek, also a multifaceted entertainer, disclosed that Amaechi is undergoing weekly dialysis and physiotherapy to address the paralysis resulting from the stroke. Sharing a poignant image of the thespian on a hospital bed on his Facebook page, Tony emphasized the severity of Amaechi’s condition and the crucial need for financial support.
Expressing gratitude for the support received thus far, Tony clarified misconceptions surrounding Amaechi’s health, stating, “Contrary to most online publications, Amaechi is my first cousin. His father and my father are of the same father. We have had a wonderful relationship as members of the same industry, and I am proud of him as a ‘brother’.”
He continued, “Amaechi is so loved worldwide, and his fans, friends, and ndi Obosi have been wonderful so far. Many groups have been donating money for his hospital bills. As of today, there’s some improvement. His blood sugar is under control, but he is still on admission, weekly dialysis, physiotherapy, and other treatments. His full treatments and recovery require sustained funding or donations. No amount is too small.”
Tony Oneweek urged well-wishers to keep Amaechi and his family in their prayers and encouraged financial contributions to Amaechi Muonagor’s First Bank plc account number 3036808437. Every donation, regardless of size, is crucial in supporting Amaechi’s journey towards full recovery.
