Akeredolu wins Ondo Governorship Election, secures 2nd term
INEC has declared the incumbent governor on Ondo State and APC candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu winner of Ondo Governorship election with 292,830 votes.
Governor Akeredolu defeated his two main contenders including PDP candidate, Eyitayo Jegede who polled 195,791 votes and his Deputy Agboola Ajayi of Zenith Labour Party, ZLP with 69,127 votes.
The Returning Officer and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka who declared the results says Governor Akeredolu won in at least two-thirds of the 18 LGAs as required by law
