2021 Council Elections: Lagos PDP unveils flag-bearers for Chairmanship positions

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has unveiled its flag-bearers for the forthcoming Local Government Council Elections.

The elections have been slated for July 24 by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) in the 20 Local Government Areas and the 37 Local Council Development Areas of the State.

The released list of the Chairmanship and Vice-Chairmanship candidates was signed by the State Chairman, Engr Adedeji Doherty, and the State Secretary, Muiz Dosunmu.

The respective candidates are as stated: (Chairmanship/Vice-Chairmanship):

1. Agbado-Okeodo: Richard Osagie/Jimoh Ibrahim

2. Agboyi Ketu: Oluwole Dahunsi/Joy Ashinze

3. Agege: Azeez Adebiyi/Yusuf Adamu

Engr Doherty advised all the candidates to endeavor to crystalize the opportunity set before them by their respective constituencies, stating that they should all leave no stone unturned to deliver their respective constituencies.


While congratulating the flag-bearers, he stated that with all unfolding issues, Lagos in all its entirety is winnable if all and sundry have their hands on deck and all acts are gotten right.
