Engr. Adedeji Doherty, the Chairman of Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council PCC for Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Lagos State expresses heartfelt condolences to
Alhaja Safurat Abdulkareem, a two-time deputy governorship candidate for the Lagos PDP, whose husband died on February 2, 2023.
The eight-day fidau prayers for the retired Wing Commander Abdulkadir Balarabe Abdulkareem, the husband of the deputy governorship candidate for Lagos PDP during the 2003 and the 2015 elections respectively will hold on Friday, February 10. The deceased Air Force top brass was the Bobajiro of Sibiri and Ekunpa Land in Lagos.
In a condolence message e-signed on his behalf by Mr. Muka Popoola, the head of DD Media Team, Doherty described as disheartening the news of the death of the fine gentleman whom Alhaja Safurat has shared the better part of her life.
Urging the bereaved female PDP leader to take heart, Doherty said she should be consoled that the grace of living with a man who loved her unconditionally and nurtured a good family with her would endure throughout her own life.
Doherty said that the Lagos PDP family were with Alhaja Sherifat in her mournful time, praying that God shall fill the void left within the Abdulkareem family by the death of her husband.
