You’re No Longer Worth It – Cristiano Ronaldo Given Condition To Join European Club
Italian football agent, Silvio Pagliari has told Cristiano Ronaldo to reduce his current wages if he wants to remain in Europe.
According to him, it does not make sense for any club to sign the 37-year-old Portugal captain on his current wages.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently a free agent after he had over half a year of his contract with Manchester United terminated last month.
After scoring 24 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils last season, the football icon found his playing time limited under new manager Erik ten Hag.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar then granted an explosive interview with Piers Morgan during which he launched a scathing attack on the club and the manager, resulting in the club terminating his contract.
Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr are the only side to have shown serious interest in signing Ronaldo and Pagliari explained that he is not worth investing in anymore.
Pagliari told CalcioMercato, “At those figures, he [Cristiano Ronaldo] is no longer worth investing in, it doesn’t make sense and there isn’t a European team that can afford to sign him.
“Either he decides to downsize or he will end his career in some happy oasis.”
