The incident gained attention after a disturbing video of the scene went viral, prompting swift action from the Police. According to FCT Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao Adewale, has ordered a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. Preliminary findings revealed that Johnson had checked into the hotel located on 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa, with an unidentified male companion who was later seen leaving the premises alone.
