Woman Kills Neighbor with Stone in Rivers State After Dispute Over Faeces

A dispute over faeces took a tragic turn in Rivers State when a woman allegedly killed her neighbor by striking him with a stone.

Journalist Allwell Ene, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, February 5, reported that the conflict began when the woman confronted the victim, accusing him of defecating in the backyard. The situation quickly escalated into a heated argument, which then turned violent.

During the altercation, the woman allegedly picked up a stone and struck the man on the head. The impact proved fatal.

“He came back from work and sat in front of his room when his female neighbor confronted him, asking if he was the one who defecated in the backyard. A quarrel started, she picked a stone, hit his head… Now he is dead,” Ene wrote.

Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
