Speaking to journalists in Abuja after the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) meeting on Tuesday, PDP Acting National Chairman Umar Damagun confirmed that the party’s national legal adviser has been directed to initiate steps to reclaim what he described as “mandates taken away.”

While calling for calm among party members, Damagun emphasized that the upcoming 2027 presidential election would be a contest between the people of Nigeria and the APC, urging the PDP faithful to stay focused despite recent setbacks.
