Video: Mother Confesses to Sexually Abusing 3-Year-Old Daughter, Infecting Her With STI
Police in Delta State have arrested a 28-year-old woman for allegedly sexually assaulting her three-year-old daughter and infecting her with a sexually transmitted infection.
The spokesperson for the state command, SP Edafe Bright, said the child’s father reported the case at the Ugborikoko Police Station after discovering a video showing the suspect compelling the child to engage in sexual acts. Officers acted on the report and arrested the woman.
Medical examination revealed that the child’s hymen had been ruptured and that she tested positive for an STI.
During interrogation, the suspect admitted to the crime and expressed shame, stating that she had engaged in same-sex activities for years and wrongfully sought sexual gratification from her daughter.
The police say the investigation is ongoing and the suspect will be charged accordingly.
