Video: Moment Gunshots Fired at Trump During Rally

Former President Donald Trump had to be escorted away from his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after possible gunshots were heard.

While Trump was speaking and displaying a chart of border crossing numbers, noises were heard, prompting screams from the crowd. Security rushed in to shield Trump, who reached for his neck with his right hand, and blood appeared to be visible on his face.

As the bangs continued, Trump quickly ducked behind the riser while agents from his protective detail rushed the stage. Screams rang out from the crowd as agents tended to him on stage.

His motorcade has since left the venue, and his condition is not immediately known.

Trump was seen holding his fist in the air as he was escorted off the stage by Secret Service agents, while chants of “USA! USA!” echoed through the crowd. Police began vacating the fairgrounds shortly after Trump left the stage.

The U.S. Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies are yet to react to the incident.

President Joe Biden, leaving Mass in Rehoboth Beach, responded, “No,” when asked if he’d been briefed about the incident.

“Praying for President Trump and everyone at the rally in Pennsylvania. May God watch over them all,” Senator Tim Scott tweeted
