Video: ‘If You Are Chosen, Come Stand in Front of My Machine Gun’ — Soldier Dares Lord’s Chosen Members
A controversial video featuring a soldier armed with a machine gun daring members of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has gone viral on social media, sparking heated discussions.
In the video, the soldier, whose identity remains unknown, accused the church members of fabricating miracle stories and publicly challenged them to prove their claims. Speaking in Pidgin English, he provocatively stated that if any of the members dared to stand before him, they wouldn’t escape injury if he fired his weapon.
“Chosen! I am a Chosen, I am a Chosen, come stand for on top of this one. Allah, walahi, you go give testimony tire,” he declared, adding, “We go Chosen your head,” in a mocking tone.
The incident has added to growing skepticism about miracle testimonies emerging from the church, which has faced scrutiny in recent weeks. Several clips have resurfaced online, showing church members sharing miraculous accounts that many critics find hard to believe.
One such testimony features an elderly woman who claimed she overpowered four armed robbers and led to the arrest of three of them. In another instance, a man testified that he survived a kidnapping, multiple machete attacks, and gunshots without suffering any injuries. There’s also a widely shared account of a man who alleged that a lion lifted him to safety after being kidnapped.
The video of the soldier’s challenge has reignited the debate over the authenticity of such testimonies. Comedian Dee One previously warned critics not to underestimate Lazarus Muoka, the general overseer of The Lord’s Chosen. Meanwhile, actor IK Ogbonna called on the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to address the issue of fake miracles within churches.
