Video: “Come Out From Your Hideout and Face Us Since Authorities Refused to Order Us to Come For You” – Nigerian Soldiers Challenge Bello Turji
A newly surfaced video shows three Nigerian soldiers issuing a direct challenge to Bello Turji Kachalla, one of Nigeria’s most notorious bandit leaders, urging him to confront them in person after expressing frustration over the lack of orders from higher authorities to pursue him.
In the video, the soldiers openly express their discontent with the current situation, questioning why they haven’t been given the directive to hunt down Turji. They take matters into their own hands by daring the terrorist leader to leave his hideout and face them directly.
One of the soldiers boldly states, “Since they have refused to give us an order to come to where you are, come out from your hideout and let us face each other and see what will happen.” They challenge Turji’s bravery, asserting that if he considers himself a man, he should prove it by engaging with them directly.
The soldiers also condemn Turji’s actions against civilians, urging him to stop the kidnapping and killing of innocent people. They emphasize their readiness and experience, referencing past successes against Boko Haram in Maiduguri, Borno State.
In their final message, the soldiers reinforce their challenge, declaring, “You have a gun, and we have guns too. Come out from your hideout and let us face each other.”
This bold confrontation highlights the deep frustration among frontline soldiers who feel hindered by a lack of decisive action from their superiors in dealing with notorious figures like Bello Turji.
