UAE Grants 10-Years Visa For Doctors, Engineers, And Exceptional Students
The United Arab Emirates, UAE, has approved the long-term residency for doctors, engineers, and other exceptional students.
On Sunday, the UAE Vice President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, announced this via Twitter.
In his tweet, he said 10 Golden years Visa would be issued to Ph.D. holders in the UAE and students with a GPA of 3.8 and above in UAE accredited universities.
The visa also covers doctors and engineers specialized in computer science, energy, programming, electronics, and biotechnology.
Others are specialists in Virology, AI, epidemiology, big data, and UAE high school best graduating students with their families.
The Dubai Prime Minister wrote: “This is just the beginning, as the UAE is keen on discovering new talents that can drive future development. Ten Golden Visas were given in May to 212 physicians working for the Dubai Health Authority for their assistance in combating the spread of Covid-19. In September, Dubai started a retirement program for the resident foreigners over the age of 55 plus, a five-year renewable residency.”
