“Tinubu Has Been Caged” – Ndume Fires Second Shot in Two Days
In a bold statement, Senate Chief Whip Mohammed Ali Ndume has declared, “Mr. President is not in the picture of what is happening outside the Villa. He has been fenced off and caged.” This marks Ndume’s second public criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu within just two days.
Speaking at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, Ndume, representing Borno South, voiced his concerns about President Tinubu’s detachment from the nation’s critical issues, including insecurity and economic hardship. He accused unnamed powerful entities of isolating the President, thereby preventing him from effectively addressing the country’s crises.
“The government is not doing anything about the food scarcity and it needs to do something urgently,” Ndume emphasized, highlighting the dire need for immediate governmental intervention in the face of Nigeria’s growing challenges.
