Tinubu Focused on Governance, Not 2027 Politics, Says Bwala
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is fully focused on delivering on his promises to Nigerians and is not concerned with discussions surrounding the 2027 presidential election, according to his Special Adviser on Public Communication, Daniel Bwala.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat on Wednesday, Bwala assured that Tinubu’s administration is prioritizing efforts to alleviate hunger and drive an agricultural revolution. He reiterated that the president’s primary goal is to address the pressing challenges facing Nigerians, ensuring that governance takes precedence over political speculation.
“The president is committed to governance and fulfilling his mandate to the Nigerian people,” Bwala said. “He has refused to be distracted by political talk about 2027. His focus is on ensuring people come out of hunger, driving an agricultural revolution, and addressing the everyday problems Nigerians face.”
While noting that the time for politics will come, Bwala affirmed that the administration would be ready when it does, but for now, delivering results remains the president’s priority.
