Tinubu Appoints Four New Permanent Secretaries
Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill vacant positions.
The announcement was made on Thursday in Abuja in a statement by Eno Olotu, spokesperson for the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
According to the statement, the newly appointed permanent secretaries are Warrens Augusta from Bayelsa, Jones-Nebo Bella from Enugu, Aminu Yargaya from Kano, and Shoretire Kamil from Ogun.
Olotu said the appointments followed a selection process designed to ensure transparency and merit in senior civil service placements.
She added that the new officials are expected to contribute their experience to the administration of government ministries and support improvements in public service delivery.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and commended the president for approving the appointments.
Walson-Jack said the selections reflect efforts to strengthen professionalism and competence within the federal civil service.
The appointments fill existing vacancies in the service and take immediate effect.
