Tinubu Appoints Federal Commissioners for FCC, NPC, RMAFC (Full List)

 

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hon. Kayode Oladele as the Federal Commissioner for the Federal Character Commission (FCC). Additionally, Mrs. Olukemi Victoria Iyantan has been appointed as Commissioner for the National Population Commission (NPC), along with 21 other Federal Commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

 

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, announced these appointments in a statement released on Monday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Segun Imohiosen, in Abuja.

 

The newly appointed Federal Commissioners for RMAFC include Mrs. Linda Nkechi Oti (Abia), Mr. Akpan Imo Effiong (Akwa Ibom), Mr. Enefe Ekene (Anambra), Prof. Steve Ugbah (Benue), and Chief Eyo Nsa Whiley (Cross River, reappointed). Others are Aruviere Egharhevwe (Delta), Nduka Henry Awuregu (Ebonyi), Mr. Victor Eboigbe (Edo, reappointed), Hon. Wumi Ogunlola (Ekiti), Hon. Ozo Obumreme Obodougo (Enugu), and Mr. Mohammed Kabeer Usman (Gombe).

 

The appointments also include Alh. Kabir Mohammed Mashi (Katsina, reappointed), Hon. Adamu Fanda (Kano), Prof. Olusegun Adekunle Wright (Lagos, reappointed), Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir (Nasarawa), Bako Shetima (Niger), and Mr. Amosun Akeem Akintayo (Ogun). Others are Dr. Nathaniel Adojutelegan (Ondo), Hon. Saad Bello Ibrahim (Plateau), Mr. Modu Aji Juluri (Yobe, reappointed), and H.E. Bello Rabiu Garba, FCNA (Zamfara).

 

According to the statement, these appointments take effect from February 3, 2025, for an initial term of five years, in line with the provisions of the Certain Political, Public, and Judicial Office Holders Act. The President urged the new appointees to work closely with their respective agency heads to advance the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
