Full List: Tinubu appoints new heads for NEMSA, SHESTCO, nominates RMAFC commissioners
President Bola Tinubu has approved new appointments for the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) and the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), Abuja.
The appointments were announced on Tuesday in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, and shared on X.
Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu was named Managing Director of SHESTCO, the federal research centre focused on science and technology development, including operation of a nuclear research facility.
Engr. Adesayo Olusegun Michael was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NEMSA.
The President also constituted a new NEMSA board. Engr. Aliyu Abdulazeez will serve as Executive Director (Technical), while Ikechi Clara Nwosu was appointed Chairman, representing the South East.
Other board members are Zubair Abdur’rauf Idris; Igba Elizabeth (North Central); Sani Alhaji Shehu (North East); Adeyemi Adetunji (South West); Engr. Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe (South South); and Engr. Charles Ogbonna Asogwa (South East).
In a related development, Tinubu nominated two commissioners for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC): Amina Gamawa for Bauchi State and Abdullahi Muktar for Kaduna State.
Their nominations have been sent to the Senate for confirmation.
