“There’s No More Crisis; It Is All Over” – APGA National Chairman Njoku Assures, Denies Rift with Soludo

Chief Edozie Njoku, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has announced the resolution of the longstanding crisis within the party.

Njoku’s declaration follows a Supreme Court verdict affirming his position as the legitimate Chairman of APGA. This ruling subsequently led the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognize him officially as the party’s authentic leader, ending a protracted power struggle.

Addressing the media in Abuja on Friday, Njoku emphasized that there is no ongoing conflict between him and Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State and the only governor elected on APGA’s platform.

“We are in a reconciliatory phase,” Njoku stated. “Reconciliation requires humility, and we are committed to it. The struggle and crisis within APGA are now over.”

He appealed to the media to avoid exacerbating tensions within the party, stressing the importance of peace and unity moving forward. “Let’s not overheat the polity in APGA. All we seek now is peace. There is no crisis in APGA. We have only one Governor, and there’s no quarrel between us.”

Njoku expressed relief that the party’s turmoil had concluded, crediting INEC’s recognition and the Supreme Court’s judgment for restoring order. “We have endured this crisis for a long time, but it has finally ended. Thank God for the resolution. There is no more crisis; it is all over,” he concluded.
