State Assembly Member Appoints 106 Aides to ‘Boost Constituency Service’
Musa Gude, the lawmaker representing Uke/Karshi constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has announced the appointment of 106 aides to support his legislative work and strengthen service delivery to his constituents.
Speaking in Lafia on Tuesday, Gude, a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), said the initiative was designed not only to enhance governance at the grassroots but also to uplift the livelihoods of those employed.
“I have 106 aides on my payroll, including special and personal assistants. Their stipends range from ₦10,000 to ₦100,000 monthly,” he disclosed.
According to the legislator, the appointments reflect his commitment to inclusive leadership and socioeconomic empowerment within his constituency.
Beyond political appointments, Gude highlighted several interventions in education, health, and infrastructure. He cited the provision of boreholes, the payment of Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) fees for students, and empowerment programs across agriculture and small-scale businesses.
“I have done my best in health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and other areas. I have also empowered many constituents to enable them to become self-reliant,” he said.
He further assured residents of continued quality representation at the state assembly while urging them to embrace unity, peace, and tolerance.
