Senator Ekwunife Vehemently Denies Alleged Political Dealings with Gov. Uzodinma, Ihedioha

In a swift response to circulating social media rumours, Senator Uche Ekwunife Ph.D has vehemently denied any involvement in brokering a political deal between Governor Hope Uzodinma and former House Speaker Emeka Ihedioha. The senator categorically dismissed the report as baseless, wicked, and malicious.

Ekwunife’s media office issued a statement condemning the allegations, describing them as mere fabrications aimed at tarnishing her reputation and sowing discord between her and the individuals mentioned in the fake news. The statement emphasized that at no point did the senator intervene in any political dispute between Uzodinma and Ihedioha, emphasizing that she is not even from Imo State.

The senator’s media office criticized the false claims as an attempt by “agents of darkness and failed politicians” to resort to cheap blackmail. The statement underscored Ekwunife’s unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and clarified that her recent defection speech focused solely on the reasons for joining the party and its benefits to the party structure in the state.

The statement called upon security agencies to identify and bring to justice those responsible for spreading these falsehoods. It also urged the public to disregard the fake news, emphasizing that Senator Ekwunife holds Governor Hope Uzodinma and Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha in high esteem, cautioning against associating her name with the unfounded and malicious allegations.
