Security Service Alerts Nigerians to Fake DSS Officer Defrauding Citizens
The Department of State Services (DSS) has issued a public warning urging Nigerians to steer clear of Barry Donald, a dismissed officer accused of impersonating the agency to defraud unsuspecting individuals.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the DSS said Donald has been involved in fraudulent activities carried out under the guise of the agency. The Service described his actions as “unscrupulous” and cautioned the public not to engage in any form of dealings with him.
The DSS advised that anyone seeking clarification, information, or assistance should contact the agency directly through its official communication channels.
“For requests, enquiries or complaints, the Service can be reached on 09088373515 or via email at [dsspr@dss.gov.ng](mailto:dsspr@dss.gov.ng),” the statement said.
