Rivers Peace Accord Marks the Conclusion of Wike’s Jagaban Aspirations, Thanks to Tinubu – Eze

Former spokesperson for the defunct new Peoples Democratic Party, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has declared an end to Nyesom Wike’s dreams of becoming the Jagaban of Rivers State, citing irrelevance in the political landscape.

Eze contends that Wike’s political standing, once formidable as the immediate past Governor of the state, has dwindled significantly, with his actions now known to all. He warns that anyone aligning with Wike does so at their own peril.

In a recent statement, Eze expressed astonishment at President Bola Tinubu’s involvement in the Rivers State Peace Accord, suggesting that the known democrat has taken undemocratic steps to massage Wike’s ego. Eze questioned Tinubu’s alignment with Wike, asserting that the recent actions mark the demise of Wike’s aspirations to become the political landlord of Rivers State.

Eze speculated on the strategic plotting by President Tinubu and his team, suggesting that the Peace Accord was a ploy to undermine Wike’s political influence and ambitions in a manner reminiscent of Tinubu’s own political stronghold in Lagos.

Commending President Tinubu for achieving what others could not, Eze acknowledged the impact of these actions in diminishing Wike’s political fortunes, effectively saving Rivers State from what he describes as the “nuisance” that Wike has become.

Eze further posited that the current state of peace in Rivers State is nothing but a facade, emphasizing the widespread awareness among the state’s elders, youths, and citizens that Tinubu’s involvement is an attempt to buy over Rivers State, a move that will be vehemently resisted.

In conclusion, Eze reiterated that Wike’s relevance in Rivers State and Nigerian politics has waned, and anyone aligning with him does so at their own risk. The dream of Wike becoming the landlord and Jagaban of Rivers State, Eze asserts, has come to an abrupt end, emphasizing that Rivers State can never replicate the political dynamics of Lagos.
