Regina Daniels breaks down in emotional video, says she will “go back”

Nollywood star Regina Daniels broke down in tears in a video shared on her Instagram Story early Friday, expressing emotional distress and hinting at returning to her husband. The visibly shaken actress confessed she was at her breaking point, saying she felt mentally exhausted and on the verge of losing control.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said through tears.

The breakdown came just a day after she celebrated the reconciliation of her parents, whom she described as “two concluded sworn enemies reuniting” for her happiness. According to Daniels, her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has reportedly been detained for several days.

“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she wrote.

Another video posted by Daniels showed actress Mercy Johnson searching for Sammy. “He’s not here,” Johnson was heard saying, promising to continue her search.

In the same emotional outburst, Daniels lamented the repeated disappointments surrounding her brother’s situation and voiced her frustration. “Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said tearfully.

Her latest remarks come weeks after she was seen crying in another viral video where she claimed to be facing domestic violence in her marriage. In that clip, she was heard saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”

Nwoko denied the allegations, attributing her behavior to “drug and alcohol abuse” and insisting that she needed rehabilitation.

On Wednesday, Daniels appealed to Nigerians to stop criticizing her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.” She also spoke emotionally about her sons, Munir and Khalifa, vowing to raise them regardless of her marital troubles.

“I’m going to fight for my children. I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support,” she said, adding that her family never approved of her marriage.
