Rape: I am innocent, until proven guilty – D’banj
Nigerian musician, singer, songwriter, rapper, entrepreneur and television personality, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, aka D’banj has come out to ask Nigerians to stop persecuting him on social media over a rape allegation involving himself and one Seyitan Babatayo.
Social Media has gone agog, since the reported allegation that the artiste forcefully had carnal knowledge of the lady two years ago.
D’banj, has however, denied the allegations, and has instituted a N100m libel suit against the lady, while also demanding for a public apology.
He further stated that he is innocent of all allegations, until proven guilty.
It had already been reported that the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, ordered a probe into the case.
