Pro-Igbo Group Endorses Tinubu/Shettima 2027 Bid, Urges South East to Join ‘Moving Train’
A pro-Igbo political organization, Igbo Arise for Tinubu/Shettima 2027, has declared its full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s second-term bid, citing continuity and bold governance as key reasons.
At a press conference held in Enugu on Thursday, the group called on Igbos nationwide to align with the APC-led federal government for stronger political influence and regional development.
Comrade Michael Iroakazi, National Coordinator of the group, praised the administration for its decisive reforms and Shettima’s loyalty to the President.
“This administration is arguably the most courageous since Nigeria’s return to democracy in 1999. It is making the hard choices necessary for long-term national growth,” Iroakazi said.
Speaking under the theme “Ahamuefuna” (My name will not be lost), he urged the South East to abandon political isolation and work from within the system.
“Our brothers and sisters of Igbo extraction, we appeal to you to join this moving train. The return of Tinubu and Shettima in 2027 will give us the leverage we need to address insecurity and drive the development our region deserves,” he added.
