“President Tinubu Appoints New Heads for Key Agencies: Dr. Barikor and Prince Amgbare Take Charge at NESREA and NDRBDA”
President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA) and Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA).
The appointments were announced by the President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday. Ngelale emphasized the President’s expectation for the new heads to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and service to Nigeria.
Dr. Barikor brings both academic and political experience, having served as a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015. Prince Amgbare, on the other hand, is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State.
