Portable Drops Diss Track Following Release from Custody
After a brief stint in police custody, controversial artist, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, wasted no time in making his voice heard. Within hours of regaining his freedom, Portable teased fans with a snippet of his upcoming track, “Spiderman,” a bold move in response to his recent arrest related to a payment dispute over his G-Wagon SUV.
The “Zazuu” sensation, who made headlines earlier this week for a daring escape attempt captured in a viral video, seemed undeterred by his recent brush with the law. Instead, he channeled his energy into his music, releasing a track that seemingly echoed his defiance.
According to reports, Portable was able to secure his release after fulfilling the bail conditions imposed by the authorities. However, this isn’t the first time the artist has found himself at odds with law enforcement.
In March 2023, the Ogun State Police Command detained Portable following the circulation of video clips showing him engaging in a heated altercation with officers. Despite being summoned for questioning, Portable declined to cooperate, prompting the police to issue a 72-hour ultimatum before taking him into custody.
