Police Recover Vehicle of Kidnapped Anambra Lawmaker
The Anambra State Police Command has successfully recovered the vehicle of Justice Azuka, the legislator representing Onitsha North Constituency 1 in the State House of Assembly, who was recently kidnapped.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the development in a statement issued from Onitsha on Thursday. According to Ikenga, the recovery was achieved as part of an intensive operation led by the Command’s operatives attached to the Inland Town Division in Onitsha.
Efforts to locate the abducted lawmaker and apprehend the perpetrators are ongoing.
