Police Arrest Suspect for Mass-Producing Russian Flags in Nasarawa, Protests Spread to Northern States
The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended a suspect in Nasarawa state involved in the mass production of Russian flags.
Simultaneously, reports from our correspondents indicate that angry protesters in Kaduna, Kano, and Katsina were seen carrying Russian flags on Monday. These demonstrators, chanting in Hausa and marching through the streets, were part of the ongoing #EndBadGovernance national protest, which has now entered its fifth day.
Protesters have been mobilizing to express their dissatisfaction with hunger and hardship affecting the nation. The presence of Russian flags at these protests has added a new dimension to the demonstrations, signaling a complex mix of local and international symbolism.
